For Autumn/Winter 2012 Fred Perry have designed the Amy Winehouse Collection in support of the Amy Winehouse Foundation; a charity established in the late singer’s name to help struggling young people. With the support of Amy’s family, Fred Perry have developed a capsule range of product true to Amy’s style.
Key styles from Amy’s iconic Fred Perry collections have been recreated in seasonal prints and colours – tonal miniature leopard print and monochrome oversized ginghams checks offer a graphic edge to solid blacks. Mother of pearl buttons and champagne tipping details add a sophisticated hint of colour to the silk knit Fred Perry shirts and pique dress.
Stand up collar shirts and oversizded gingham checks are teamed with flood length skinny trousers complete with leopard print turn ups; worn with the all black bomber jacket this contemporary take on a 1950s look is characteristic of Amy’s style
The stand out piece is the leopard print tonal button down collar shirt dress, complete with waist cinching belt. The range remains very typically Amy; sexy, stylish and individual.
Fred Perry will be making a seasonal contribution from this collection to the Amy Winehouse Foundation.

Fred Perry are proud to support the Amy Winehouse Foundation; a charity set up by Amy's family and friends to help struggling young people. Since launching in late September last year, the Foundation has helped youngsters up and down the country by raising money and donating to hospices and other worthy causes. With the blessing of Amy's family, we've continued to release the collaborative collection Amy created with Fred Perry, donating all the usual royalties plus a seasonal contribution to the Foundation.
The SS12 Amy Winehouse for Fred Perry Collection has now been released, referencing Amy's love of 50s Americana with the artist's signature gingham check bowling shirts and a unique 'jukebox' print featuring Cadillacs, records and cats-eye sunglasses. Cosmopolitan have used pieces from the collection in their 'Take a Ride with Me' pictorial below, photographed by Mark Andrew and styled by Sairey Stemp:
The fashion world has always had a fascination with Amy's iconic style, and we're happy that the collection Amy was so passionate and dedicated to has been released for her fans to enjoy.

The dress worn by the late Amy Winehouse for her iconic Back to Black album is to go under auction. Donated by the original designer Disaya Sorakraikitikul; the cream and red chiffon dress will go under the hammer as part of the Passion for Fashion event held at La Galleria, London at the end of this month. All the profits from the dress - which is predicted to sell for up to £20,000 - will go to the Amy Winehouse Foundation; a charity set up by the singer's family to help others struggling with addiction.
