The Chelsea Futurespace Gallery presents Four Decades, an exhibition of prints by iconic British artist and former Fred Perry collaborator Sir Peter Blake. Known as one of the figureheads of the British Pop Art movement, Blake’s work takes influence from the realms of pop culture, literature, music and contemporary art.

Included in the exhibition are Blake’s series of Appropriated Alphabets, Alice in Wonderland, and The Butterfly Man, as well as portraits of musicians Chuck Berry, Ian Dury and The Clash. Covering forty years of the artist’s work, the exhibition explores the diversity and dexterity that allows it to transcend the divisions between fine art and pop culture.
Four Decades will run at Chelsea Futurespace until 28th July, 2013.
