Subsonic Live Christmas Party

Friday saw The Horrors play their much anticipated show at the Garage, Islington, as headliners of the Subsonic Live Christmas Party. Performing to a sold-out venue, the band cemented their status as one of the UK's most pioneering and influential outfits of the last decade.

Opening with Changing the Rain from third album Skying, Faris and the group captivated the crowd from the opening note, playing an eclectic set including various highlights from their discography and ending with the synth-infused Moving Further Away. The intimate setting of the Garage formed the perfect surroundings for the set, showcasing the band's individual talents and their phenomenal growth since they first formed in 2005.

Supporting The Horrors were psych 5-piece TOY, Haxan Cloak and DJ sets from Perc, The Quietus and Heavenly Jukebox. Read a full round-up of the night HERE.

Subsonic Live II - The Horrors

Subsonic Live returns to the Garage in Islington this Friday for a very special Christmas Party. Featuring headliners The Horrors as well as performances fom TOY and Haxan Cloak; the night will host exclusive DJ sets from Perc and The Quietus, plus a psychedelic set from Heavenly Jukebox.

Subsonic Live Launch @ The Garage

Friday saw the launch of new live music concept Subsonic Live over at The Garage, London. Featuring headliners Factory Floor as well as special guests The Invisible, Hyetal and Phonica Records; the event was a huge success with the venue packed to capacity and some brilliant live performances. Factory Floor lived up to their reputation as one of the most original and potent forces in live music, with a relentless performance including their new single Two Different Ways.

DJ Rory Phillips (Durrr) kept the atmosphere electric in the main room, as former Silencio DJ and History Clock founder Nathan Gregory Wilkins took care of the Discovery Room. Following on from the launch will be a very special Subsonic Christmas Party, with headliners The Horrors now confirmed.
