The desert boot was first found by the British army officers in the bazaars of Egypt and they adopted it for its dependable and practical design. It made its way to the UK in 1950, and was then worn by the mods as part of their ‘uniform’ with their Fred Perry shirts. It’s been a streetwear essential ever since. We’ve made this season’s boot with a premium leather upper, a twill lining and a traditional vulcanised sole. For this season, we’ve given it high, wrap-around foxing for a tall profile. We’ve kept the traditional 2-eylet simple lacing. We finished by embroidering our Laurel Wreath on the heel stand.
