The first Fred Perry shirt was made in Leicester, England in 1952. The idea was to make something smart and functional. The shirts were crafted from a combed cotton pique, each with a hand finished rib collar and an embroidered Laurel Wreath. This tradition continues today.
One shirt forever. The definitive Fred Perry cotton piqué tennis shirt, with two button placket and our signature twin tipped detailing. Designed by Fred himself. Unchanged in 60 years. And still made in England.
The Fred Perry shirt. As Fred made it. There’s only one original. Our one-colour piqué tennis shirt. Fred designed it himself. He wore it himself. It’s the first chapter in the story and it’s pure Fred Perry. Made proudly in England since 1952.
