The tennis shirt works as well today as when Fred Perry invented it in 1952. Our collar is perfectly constructed to lie flat and the 3-button placket keeps it looking tidy. We used a marl yarn, twisting together two different colour threads into a single strand, so the shirt’s colour has a subtle blended look. Unusually, we added just a single colour for the tipping on the collar and cuffs. But as always, we finished with an embroidered Laurel Wreath on the chest.
